Where the Grass is Always Greener

Where the Grass is Always Greener explores what is defined as home. The piece comments on the desire to belong in a place that exists far away from the comfort of native culture, race, and ethnicity. From the perspective of two performers, the work depicts the journey away from their homeland in pursuit of a better life.

Where the Grass is Always Greener analyzes the emotional and psychological complexities of migration and cultural assimilation. At the foreground of this work lies the performers’ contrasting desires of where their home truly is. Watch as the dynamic tension begins to unfold between the characters.
